This area is for people considering joining the club, and for those that are already members. Considering joining? The RAMS are all about R/C flying, and we fly everything. We have a small, but extremely active contingent of helicopter pilots. They're into 3D style flying, but love to help beginners get into the hobby. We have a small but active group of 3D airplane pilots. A large number fly scale airplanes, including WW I&II warbirds, through to modern sport planes. We fly non-scale planes. All share our two fields equally. There are a few that even fly the blimp at the Amerks' hockey games. The one thing that our club doesn't do much of is competition flying. That's not to say that we don't have members that compete, but as a club, we don't have much in the way of competitive events. Most of our members are computer savvy, at least enough to use it as a primary means of communication (and for those that aren't, they aren't reading this). We have two email lists, a forum, and this website. Please look around the site, and stop out and meet us at our fields. You will get a good sense of who we are and what we're into. Our membership is the largest in the area, and growing. Already a member? This area contains "technical" information about membership: rules, a directory of members and anything else that pertains to membership. It does not contain the "fun stuff" like pictures of events and movies. |
