We had a great location to meet people and talk about our hobby and club.
Our tent was set up right along the spectator fence, show center.

The star attraction was the Air Force Thunder Birds.
What was really cool was that at the daily pilots' meeting, we were right in there with them getting the briefing.

At the end of the show on Saturday, one of the FA-18 guys invited us into "his" plane.

Here's Leonard in the FA-18. Lenny organized our club's participation in the show.

One by one we all got a turn sitting in the pilot's seat. Dave Ottney tries it out.
Dave coordinated our flight line on Saturday. Larry Clarke did it on Sunday.

Lee Bull gives Navy Dude some pointers.
Lee was one of our demo pilots along with Dick Miller, Dave Playfair, Lenny Kmiecik.

The Navy guys were interested in our planes too.

Dave Playfair wipes down his show canopy after a splendid demo flight.

Leonard Sr. & Jr. get ready for a demo flight.
John Powers was our announcer both days and displayed his plane; David Playfair helped with setup, flew his Helicopter (both days), displayed his helicopter, and tear down of club tent; Richard Miller displayed his plane and flew it Saturday; Lee Bull for setup, (flew a plane Saturday) display of plane, and tear down of club tent; Dave Ottney and Larry Clark for being our R/C Airboss (Dave on Saturday and Larry on Sunday) both displayed planes and helped with setup and tear down; and last but not least myself which I flew both days and helped with tear down also. Others that helped at the show were: Rob Jacobs, Leonard Kmiecik Sr., Donna Kmiecik, Steven Powers, and Clay Wheaton.
We met a lot of people at the show and passed out panphlet's for our airshow, and club website business cards. The following pictures are of some of the planes we had on display.
